The Rye Park Wind Farm is a major renewable energy development in New South Wales requiring new transmission infrastructure to connect generation into the National Electricity Market (NEM).
The wind farm comprises 66 turbines with a maximum generation capacity of 396MW.
Genus delivered the project’s 330kV transmission line infrastructure in partnership with Zenviron.
The works supported connection of the wind farm into the National Electricity Market and demonstrate Genus’ capability in delivering renewable energy transmission infrastructure.
Tilt Renewables forms part of Powering Australian Renewables (PowAR), one of Australia’s largest owners and developers of renewable generation and storage assets.

The scope includes:
Via its 330kV grid connection, Rye Park Wind Farm now delivers 396MW of renewable generation capacity, supplying enough clean energy for approximately 215,000 homes and reducing emissions by almost 1 million tonnes per year.
